Purpose:
To provide a scholarship to one Delaware County resident who is a graduating senior in the class of 2022 intending a post high school course of study at a college, university or other post-secondary educational institution. This scholarship is an opportunity for us to help a member of our community and to provide support to a deserving student.
Rules:
- Winner will be chosen based on the submission of a 500-word essay: “Discuss a controversial issue currently pervasive on college campuses, and a practical solution to that issue.”
- DEADLINE for scholarship applications is 11:59 pm May 15, 2022. (no exceptions)
- Refer to criteria below for eligibility requirements.
- Incomplete forms will not be considered.
- Essays must be typed.
- The winner of the “Scott Bonebrake Attorney at Law Scholarship” will be announced June 15, 2022 on our website- noelandbonebrake.com. In addition, the winner will be notified via email.
Award:
1 – $2,000 scholarship awarded by Scott Bonebrake, Attorney at Law. Award to be disbursed via check.
Criteria:
- Applicant must be a resident of Delaware County, PA.
- Applicant must be a graduating high school senior in the year of the award- 2022.
- Applicant must be accepted and planning to attend a college, university or a post-secondary educational institution.
- Applicant must have a current GPA of 3.0 or greater.

Selection Criteria :
The winner will be chosen based on the following factors: feasibility, originality, creativity, and the applicant’s level of knowledge in the topic as well as their ability to write a well-crafted essay.
